Laser Treatment Procedure
Consultation
At LaserALL™ Dermal Clinics, we believe that the journey to an amazing skin rejuvenation starts with a comprehensive skin consultation. Our specialist will use extensive aesthetic skincare experience to carefully analyse your skin and provide you with necessary information prior to commencing any treatment. This free assessment includes a thorough analysis of your skin condition, skin type, and complexion while discussing our methods and technology. Our desire is for every client to fully understand the treatment options available before making any decision.
We determine your price, realistic treatment term with payment options available to you. We’ll answer any questions you might have, with complete transparency. At your request, we can provide a free test patch.
Pre-Treatment
We commence an optimum pre-treatment procedure after the initial consultation. We will collect and document details about your current or past medical condition, disease, allergies, medication, and past skincare/ treatment experiences.
Be assured to get the utmost privacy from our experts and feel at home to disclose any past experience that can impede the success of your treatment. Getting the correct information from you will help our experts to arrange a treatment procedure that will suit your needs, ensure optimal safety, and achieve the most predictable treatment outcome.
- Fourteen days before treatment, you need to avoid these products and/or procedures:
- Depilatory creams, waxing, BOTOX injections, or procedures that involve electrolysis.
- Follow our immune/lymph cleansing diet to help maximise pigment absorption as well as no smoking.
- Keep your skin out of direct sunlight for four weeks prior to treatment as well as using a (30+SPF) sunscreen. A slower healing process will result if the skin is sun affected.
- NO exposure of the treatment site to any sunlight for 48 hours prior to treatment is mandatory. If you are excessively bronzed, it is best to delay treatment for approximately one month to reduce the amount at which your skin absorbs the photons of laser light at the epidermis (top layer of skin) level.
- Do not smoke for four weeks prior to treatment. Smoking reduces the amount of circulating oxygen in the system and will delay the healing process.
- You may purchase Numb Cream from a chemist and apply to your treatment site 1 hour prior to treatment, at your discretion.
- Loose comfortable clothing is better to wear following treatment so as to keep the treated area unrestricted and protected. Come in comfy clothes.

Treatment Process
At our clinic, we prioritise a comprehensive approach to treatment. The process begins with an initial consultation, during which we determine the cost of the treatment. Following this, clients will complete a consent form and accept our terms of service. Our treatment process includes an initial phase, the treatment itself, a post-treatment phase, and expert recommendations to ensure the treatment is effective and sustainable, preventing any recurrence of skin problems in the future. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best possible results through a thorough and well-rounded approach to treatment.
Initial Phase of Treatment
At our clinic, patient safety is our top priority. Before any treatment begins, we ensure that all parts of the body are protected by providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the eyes and other sensitive areas. Our trained therapist will then mark the targeted area for treatment and utilise state-of-the-art Low-Level Laser Therapy equipment to deliver light beam waves to the treatment area. This method is completely painless and has been scientifically proven to promote faster healing. By providing the best safety measures and utilising the latest technology, we guarantee our patients the best laser therapy experience.
The Process
At LaserALL™, our treatment process has been designed to provide maximum results in fewer treatment sessions. Our advanced laser technology penetrates deep into the skin layers, effectively addressing various skin concerns without causing damage. During the treatment, patients may experience a mild sensation similar to pin pricks, but discomfort is kept to a minimum with the use of High-Intensity Laser Therapy to numb the area and improve oxygen levels for faster healing. To further enhance the experience, our experts apply a calming cream and chemical-free sunblock to the treated area.
It is normal for patients to experience redness in the treated area for the first 24 to 48 hours. This is a result of the stimulation of collagen and fibroblast activity, which improves the skin and/or increases pigment clearance, resulting in a smoother and tighter complexion.
Now is the perfect time to schedule a laser treatment from our local skin experts. We are available year-round to deliver treatments tailored to your unique skin type. Our experts will provide personalised advice on the best steps to achieve your skin aesthetic goals, both during and after treatment. However, certain factors can negatively impact the success of our laser treatment:
- Fitzpatrick Skin type (Fp I-VI)
- Previous laser work
- Health of the patient (smoking, drinking excessively will delay recovery and overall success of treatments)
- Condition of the problem (chronic situations could lie deeper in the skin or originate from the derail level)
- Body position (treatments on the arms and legs take longer to clear than those on the face, chest, or abdomen)
- Scarring or skin damage at the site
We understand that healing time can vary among individuals based on their health, age, and skin type. Despite this, we guarantee that after the treatment, you will look and feel younger, with a brighter, richer, and firmer complexion. Contact Laserall® today to schedule your laser treatment and take the first step towards achieving your desired skin aesthetic.
Unlocking the Science of Cosmetic Laser Treatment
Laser treatment is a powerful and effective way to improve the appearance of your skin. This procedure uses a specialised device that emits an intense beam of light energy, known as a laser, to target specific areas of the skin with irregularities. The laser beam penetrates deep into the outer layer of the skin (epidermis) as well as the underlying skin (dermis) to precisely remove targeted tissue layers and stimulate collagen production.
The key to achieving optimal results from cosmetic laser treatments is the precise application of wavelength, pulse duration, and depth. Other important factors to consider include power, spot size, pulse width, and cooling. One of the most critical factors in laser treatment is the absorption of wavelength, as research has shown that higher absorption results in more successful treatment outcomes.
At LaserALL™ Dermal Clinics, our team of experts has the advanced skills and experience necessary to deliver laser treatments with maximum efficiency and minimal risk. We specialise in selecting the right laser device and wavelength to achieve optimal clearance and achieve the best possible results for our clients. Expertise in Advanced Laser Technology: ‘Selective Photo-thermolysis’ & ‘The Photoacoustic Effect’ at Our Clinic
At LaserALL™, we specialise in delivering expert cosmetic laser treatments that are tailored to meet your individual needs. Our state-of-the-art technology includes the latest advancements in selective Photo-thermolysis and the Photoacoustic Effect, allowing us to effectively treat a wide range of skin conditions.
Selective Photo-thermolysis is a highly effective method for addressing multi-layered skin issues, as it targets both the uppermost layer and the deeper layers of the treatment area. This process shatters a layer of chromophores, resulting in smaller microscopic particles that can be easily absorbed by the body. This method is particularly beneficial for clients looking to minimise the number of treatment sessions.
The Photoacoustic Effect is another advanced technique that uses a specific wavelength of light to heat targeted tissues, resulting in the clearance of skin irregularities without affecting surrounding tissues. This method is highly effective and results can be seen after just one treatment.
At LaserALL™ Dermal Clinics, our trained professionals will work with you to determine the best treatment plan for your specific needs and concerns. Following each session, we will provide you with professional advice to help you achieve optimal results. In most cases, we schedule follow-up appointments 4-6 weeks after the initial treatment, allowing ample time for the skin to heal and recover. However, in certain circumstances, other arrangements may be made based on the individual’s healing process.
Post Treatment
Post-operative care is very essential, however, this first week after laser skin resurfacing is challenging in terms of care. Unnecessary setbacks and the complications of infection and reactions may be minimised if the instructions are followed carefully. Sometimes the after-effects of our procedures are quite minimal, so not all these instructions may apply. Common sense will often dictate what you should do. However, when in doubt, follow these guidelines or call our clinic for clarification.
The laser procedure can produce the most dramatic results in skin rejuvenation. It also has one of the more formidable recoveries. This first 2-3 days after laser skin treatment can be challenging in terms of care. You may be swollen, red, itchy but you can safely leave the house without turning heads. This all begins to change at about day 5-6 which has the most changes occur. After this, recovery is much easier. Just remember that the reward is at the end of the healing journey.
Laser resurfacing removes the outer layers of the skin. It is very important to manage this treatment to ensure proper healing and maintain optimum treatment results. As with any wound, do not touch your face without washing hands. Bacterial and yeast infections can occur if you touch other body parts then touch your face.
In addition to the cooling therapy immediately after your laser treatment, your clinician will treat the area with collagen-stimulating LLLT to reduce the chance of infections.
You will also receive a take-home care package which includes lymph clearing products and health recommendations to speed up your recovery.
Three days after treatment we encourage you to return for a short LLLT session. This will help your skin recover much faster.
One week after treatment, we highly recommend a further LLLT/collagen session to speed up and further heal the area of skin being treated.
How to Care for Your Skin after a Laser Treatment
Proper care of the treatment area is essential and you need to take care of the following:
- Avoid injury to the area.
- Avoid irritating the surface in any way by rubbing or touching the area. A scab or thin crust will be forming and the skin needs to heal well under this. Typically, this lasts for 3-5 days.
- If your skin feels irritated, take the following steps:
- Ensure you return to LaserALL™ for your 3 and 7 days follow up LLLT treatments as these will dramatically improve the rate of healing and reduce any discomfort.
- Use the Gel supplied to you.
- Avoid scratching, picking, or touching the direct or surrounding area. Pain or itching can be eased by applying Aloe Vera Gel, if this is not sufficient use a soothing Vitamin E cream.
- Avoid direct sun exposure during the entire healing process, and ensure a mineral based 50+ SPF sunscreen is applied and/or clothing to completely cover the area of treatment. Continue using sunscreen for your entire treatment process.
- Excess moisture will slow the healing process. For 3 days after your treatment, you should avoid exercise, swimming pools. Showering is acceptable after 24 hours, however if there is crusting/scabbing present, avoid the direct pressure of the water on the skin and gently pat dry the area as the crusting/scabbing process should not be disrupted.
- Cold packs or cool cloths can be used. Be aware of the direct application of ice as this can cause ice burn, by affecting the blood flow to the area.
- Avoid smoking.
- Smoking reduces the amount of circulating oxygen in the system and makes it harder for your body’s immune system to work effectively in clearing the pigments.
- Ensure a minimum of 4 weeks before your next treatment.
