Following these guidelines will help you achieve the best results and maintain healthy skin:
- Subsequent treatments are based on your therapist’s recommendation, typically 2-4 weeks apart. An initial course of 3-6 treatments is recommended.
- Acne symptoms may be triggered after your first treatment.
- Monthly to quarterly maintenance treatments are advised for long-term results.
- Avoid makeup for 24-48 hours post-treatment.
- Avoid strenuous activities, sun exposure, hot showers, or anything that heats the skin for 24-48 hours.
- Avoid active ingredients (AHA, Retinols, Acidic) for one week.
- Avoid anti-inflammatory medications (antihistamine).
- No waxing or laser hair removal on treated areas for two weeks.
- Avoid chlorinated water for 72 hours.
- Use sunscreen with SPF 50 or above daily and reapply regularly.
- Avoid direct sun exposure for two weeks.
- Use Zovirax if prone to herpes simplex before and after intensive treatment.
- Autoimmune disease patients should take oral antibiotics during the healing period.
- Apply post-care products gently to avoid skin reactions.
